What can you get for your money in Kingston real estate? I get asked this question all of the time and today I am here with the answer.
First of all, the average sale price in Kingston now sits at $622,734 that is up by almost 25% from last year. So let's break that down even further.
If you are looking for a 2-storey detached home, the average price of a 3 bar, 2 bath, 1500 square foot home that is between 16-30 years old is $622,000. If you prefer something a little newer say 6-15 years old that is 1500 square feet, then that will set you back about $680,000.
Maybe you prefer a bungalow, the average price of a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom approximately 1250 square foot bungalow that is between 31-50 years old is $550,000, but if you would like a bungalow that is between 16-30 years old, you're looking around $670,000.
If you are just starting out or downsizing, you may be looking for a townhome and the average price of a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1200 sq ft townhome between 31-50 years old is just under $450,000, but if you prefer a 1700 square foot, newer townhome, then you are looking at approximately $630,000.
Finally, the average price of an apartment that is 2 bdr, 1 bath, just under 1,000 square feet that is between 31-50 years old is just under $400,000.
Now, of course prices will vary from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, size of the home, what condition the home is in etc and we would be here all day if I went over every type and size of home, so if you are looking for a specific type of home and or are curious to know exactly what your price range can get you, feel free to send me a message or give me a call and I would be happy to send you some more information.
